Meraner Höhenweg
Our neighbouring town Naturns (5 minutes by car) offers lovely wandering and hiking:

• cableway Unterstell (up to the Meraner Höhenweg, from farm to farm, or to the next cableway at Partschins Gigglberg, where you can get back to the valley and return by bus or train)
• Panorama paths, Jesus-Path of reflection
• Schnals valley (reachable within a short drive): the side valley of Vinschgau is famous due to the discovery of the iceman Ötzi at the Similaun glacier. Picturesque mountain villages and umpteen hiking tours: such as pasture hiking (Berglalm, Kloster Alm, Panauder Alm, Eishof im Pfossental, beautiful lake tours (hiking around the Vernagt reservoir, Saxalber lake) and the Similaun glacier are inviting you to discover the variety of South Tyrol.
